The Master has featured one of the year’s most fiendish (and internationally recognised) quizzes this year. Pupils at King William’s college on the Isle of Man have been tormented by its annual general knowledge quiz since 1905. Until 1999, the quiz was compulsory, but these days it is sent to pupils’ families to tackle over the holidays, and reproduced in many other places such as The Guardian newspaper. The results for this year’s quiz have now been published, and show one question for the brain-boxes involved Terence Cuneo and his picture ‘Royal Border Bridge’. You can take the quiz here: King William's quiz 2021 .
