Two pictures, believed to have been drawn for the Illustrated London News, have been uncovered. Both were drawn at Denham Studios in 1946, at a time when 'Meet Me at Dawn' was being fimed. The stars have faded into obscurity (William Eythe and Hazel Court) but it also featured Margaret Rutherford and Stanley Holloway. Sadly this didn't prevent critics from dubbing the film as 'boring'.
Cuneo's pictures of the behind the scenes show the extent of the work to create outdoor scenes in what was then the largest film studio in Europe. The usual attention to detail shows the equipment from huge arc lights to the boom microphone, as well as the large number of people 'behind the camera' making sure all was well.
